Inquiring Minds Want to Know
This is the part in the seminar or assembly where the speaker’s question, “Are there any questions,” is met with blank stares from the audience. So, in lieu of any questions from my audience and to avoid moments of awkward silence, I have prepared a list FAQs (frequently asked questions).

The following questions are the ten questions James Lipton (host of Inside the Actors Studio) asked at the end of every show, so technically these were frequently asked questions; they are just not frequently asked of me.
My answers appear below:
1. What is your favorite word?
A: Possibilities.
2. What is your least favorite word?
A: Impossible.
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
A: Truth.
4. What turns you off?
A: Insincerity, phoniness, general pretension.
5. What is your favorite curse word?
A: I don’t curse.
6. What sound or noise do you love?
A: I love the sound of my dog howling at sirens…it makes me smile every time. Even at 2 o’clock in the morning.
7. What sound or noise do you hate?
A: The bass from someone else’s car stereo and/or overhearing two people fighting and cursing at each other (see answer #5).
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
A: As a child, I would have chosen (in no particular order) to be a dog breeder, a horse trainer, someone who works in a zoo, or a ballerina. If I had to choose a different profession today, I would chose to be an art authenticator (someone who determines if a work of art is a fake or the real deal). I would say “spy” if someone could guarantee that I would never be shot at or chased or poisoned and that I would always land on my feet.*
9. What profession would you not like to do?
A: I like to cook, but I would not like to work in a restaurant.
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
A: I’ve been watching you.
